This seems like an auspicious day to let our hearts loose. Don’t you think?

And who knows what that will look like … feel like …

(Probably pretty good!)

It’s time to play!

Check in with your heart and you’ll know I’m right.

At least that’s what my heart is saying to me.

Enough! of the control.

Enough! of the planning.

Enough! trying to do it “right”.

If I listen, my heart says to lighten up.

If I listen, I have a new direction. Inward. And outward.

Toward expression, expansion, and experimentation.

Based on my heart song.

Toward freedom … no, not toward it but reveling in the freedom that is already at hand.

Toward lila, Divine play. Creating freely, for the joy of it.

If not now, when?

I’m listening today. Are you?

Stop a moment.

Right now. Close your eyes. Listen to your heart. (Smile. That helps you hear it. :-D)

What is your heart saying? How can you let it sing today?

Will you?

Happy Valentine’s Day! I wish you a happy heart and joyous creating.

Beautiful post!!! My heart says, “PLAY!” When I don’t listen, it constricts. So I listen. 🙂

      Hi Ande,
Yes, and you seem to do a good job of playing. Very uplifting energy on your site. And hmmm, I think you brought a little bit of that here with you.
      Thanks for coming by!

If I listen to my heart, hmm my heart would probably say to me to have a rest and sleep. I’m quite a workaholic and have a little time of rest and play. Thanks for the wonderful post, Patti Foy.

Yes, funny how our hearts often contradict our heads.
Thank you for coming by and adding your input. Nice to see you (and your heart) here.

      Hi Angela,

Oh no, I just found this along with another of your comments in the spam container. Sorry about that!

Going along with the idea of this post and your comment, I just figured you haven’t been by because you sort of “declared” you may not get around quite as much because you were prioritizing so as to be able to, well, let your heart sing more! 😉

Anyway, soooo glad to see you. Thanks for your comment.

Hi Patti! Any day that we make our hearts sing is a great day. I like the concept of taking some time and listening to our heart. It’s a beautiful exercise that we should do everyday to help us stay connected.
Thanks for the reminder. Loving blessings!

      Hi Andrea,
You’re so right, every day is a good day for listening to our hearts, isn’t it? If only I could remember. Maybe tie a string around my finger. Ya, a heart-string!
Thanks for coming by and sharing. Always a pleasure.

    Hi Patti,
I took a 2 hour workshop in abstract art today. I’ve been away from painting for 3 years. So my heart is singing. What else? You. I appreciate your help and it’s been fun getting to know you!

      Hi Tess,

Yay for you! How fun! That definitely sounds like a heart thing. I’d love to see some of your paintings sometime. And moi? I think you have helped me far more than I’ve helped you, but who’s counting… That’s how it works, I guess.

And my heart likes getting to know you, too!

      Thanks for coming by. 😀

    Hi Patti,

I love your new layout for your website! I especially like you tagline; “Applied metaphysics for insight, guidance and transformation.” Clearly, listening to your heart has taken you in the right direction. 🙂

      Hi Irving,
Thanks! I’m playing around with some ideas so this new look is temporary (what isn’t?), but I sure appreciate the feedback! And truly, it all is a part of following my heart, you’re right, especially the new tagline. I’m still finding my place here, ya know?
Thanks for coming by! Love seeing you.
